Hodges University’s marketing team earned four national awards in the 38th Annual Educational Advertising Awards. “It’s always gratifying when peers from around the country and the world recognize the work we do,” said Teresa Araque, Vice President of Marketing and External Communication. “Working with such a talented team of professionals is rewarding. We appreciate the support from our President, Dr. John Meyer, who continues to give us the creative space to push boundaries.”
Hodges University won a Gold Award in the TV Advertising Series category for its series of four TV commercials, written and directed by the Hodges University marketing team, and filmed and produced by WINK-TV and WXCW-TV.
Hodges University earned a Merit Award in the Special Video category for the Hodges University Pre-Graduation Ceremony 2022 video. Hodges University earned a Merit Award in the Website category for its Hodges.edu website. In the category of Publication/External, Hodges University earned a Merit Award for Talon magazine, the magazine of Hodges University.
This is the third year Hodges University has entered, bringing the total number of awards to 18. The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest advertising awards competition. Over 2,000 entries were received from over 1,000 colleges, universities, and secondary schools in all 50 states and several foreign countries. The judge’s national panel included higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, and marketing and advertising professionals.
