Charlie Health is the largest national provider of IOP services, and they specialize in helping kids that are in crisis and that have historically been underserved due to financial or geographic barriers. Charlie Health’s engagement rates are consistently 90% and their patient satisfaction and outcomes are unusually positive. They work with major hospitals and inpatient providers to help those patients transition out of inpatient/residential and reduce readmission. They also work with schools and other behavioral health community partners to be a first resort for higher acuity youth for who talk therapy isn’t working—before they end up in the hospital.
