Michael “Mike” Hendricks, Ed.D., currently vice president for enrollment management at Furman University (SC), has been named vice president for strategic enrollment planning at The University of Tampa.
At UT, Hendricks will oversee all of the University’s enrollment management activities, including financial aid, registrar and strategic outreach efforts for undergraduate and graduate enrollment. “Mike brings 25 years of successful experience in higher education at a variety of private universities of different scale, complexity, mission and market position,” said UT President Ronald Vaughn. “And he has consistently achieved goals and worked to constantly improve the admissions operation. We look forward to his bringing his skills and talents to UT.”
Hendricks brings more than two decades of sustained achievement and professional commitment to advancing the practices and collaborative nature of the enrollment management profession. Throughout his career, Hendricks has managed a broad range of operational areas including admissions, financial aid, registrar, records, student accounts, communications, auxiliary services, student housing and dining, postal services, campus store and athletics.
