After a thorough nationwide search, Southeastern University announced today that the university’s new provost and chief academic officer will be Meghan Griffin, Ph.D. Griffin currently serves as the associate provost and dean of unrestricted education at Southeastern.
An experienced and innovative academic leader, Griffin joined Southeastern in 2017. Since earning her doctorate in texts and technology from the University of Central Florida in 2012, she has published on classical Christian education, material semiotics and network theory, and embodiment philosophy and embodied cognition. She has taught courses in management, communication and leadership. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Arts in English degree from Rollins College. Griffin also holds a Graduate Certificate in Professional Writing.
